Child Dedication is a time to publicly recognize that our children are a gift from the Lord! We'll pray together as a church family during our Sunday gathering that the Lord would provide strength and wisdom as you raise your child(ren) according to God's Word.

Congratulations, High School Class of 2026! You've worked hard and we want to celebrate you, acknowledge your accomplishments, and pray for your future. We'll acknowledge each student, share their future plans, and pray for them as they turn the page and begin a new chapter.

The Send a Kid to Camp Auction allows us to financially support and bring kids to camp that wouldn't otherwise be able to come. Because of your generosity and desire to see the Gospel shared, we have raised thousands of dollars and sent hundreds of kids to camp over the years!

If you’re 18-28, join us twice a month for powerful worship, a meaningful word from Scripture, and real, authentic connection with other Young Adults. Afterward, stick around to hang out, play games, and hit the gym for basketball and volleyball. Whether you come with friends or show up solo, you’ll find a place to belong. Young Adults Summer Nights will take place on the following dates: June 18, July 2, July 16, July 30, + August 13

Ahoy, mateys! Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure this year at Vacation Bible School! Set sail on a journey filled with excitement, laughter, and discovery as we sing, dance, play, and learn about Jesus in a fun and engaging way. Each night is packed with high-energy games, creative crafts, tasty snacks, and awesome Bible stories that help kids grow in their faith all while making new friends along the way.
July 12Oakland County Fairgrounds
We love gathering together at the Oakland County Fair! This is the one Sunday every year we gather together with all of The River Church locations and worship together in song, through teaching, and fellowship! All attendees will receive free parking and one free ride ticket! If you have gathered with us before, you know just how sweet it is to be together! If you're new, we can't wait to see you! You don't want to miss it!
Middle School Camp: July 13-17High School Camp: July 19-24
Summer Camp is packed with epic fun you can’t find anywhere else—like late-night games, outdoor adventures, campfire worship, and powerful moments with God and friends! River Students Summer Camp is an overnight camp that takes place at New Life Camp in Rose City, MI. This year’s camp theme is Wholehearted. Messages for the week will be focused on what it truly means to follow God with everything we have.
Girls: August 2-5Boys: August 5-8
Hey River Kids, do you love camp? So do we! The time spent at camp makes up some of the best moments of the entire year! This summer we’ll be diving into the parables of Jesus—learning powerful truths through the stories Jesus told. We'll be doing this all while having a ton of fun swimming, playing games, making friends, and worshipping together. River Kids Camp is an overnight camp that takes place at New Life Camp in Rose City, MI.
August 21-23New Life Camp
Are you between the ages of 18-28? If so, the Young Adults Retreat is for you! Join us at New Life Camp with young adults from all locations. This will be a powerful time of worship together in song and the teaching of God's Word. The focus of the weekend is to grow deeper in our understanding of what it means to stand firm in our faith in Jesus in a world that often pushes against it, and learn what it looks like to truly walk in His ways.
