Awana is a weekly discipleship program for children from PreK through 5th grade that helps kids build a strong foundation of faith through Bible teaching, Scripture memorization, worship, games, and meaningful friendships. Evenings are filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that make learning God's Word both fun and memorable. Weekly themes add even more excitement, making every Wednesday something kids can look forward to!
Students in middle and high school are invited to join us for Bible study, group discussions, and games! It’s an all around fun time! Whether you're brand new or have been coming since you were born, we're excited to get together, hang out, and be encouraged by God's Word and each other.
The purpose of our Young Adults ministry at The River Church is to come along side 18-28 year olds to help them reach the world with the gospel, gather together to worship, and grow together in the word of God. We accomplish these things by meeting weekly throughout the year in our growth communities and having regular events. We want every Young Adult to find community and continue to grow in their relationship with the Lord!
River Moms is a place for us gals to get together and encourage one another through scripture and community! We'll share our burdens and celebrate our joys as we navigate this journey called motherhood. River Moms is available at 3 of The River Church locations. edit this by clicking on it.
Growth Communities are small group Bible studies designed to help you grow in your relationship with God and with others. It's a place for followers of Jesus, or those interested in learning more, to come together and study the Bible, discuss life challenges, pray, and grow in relationship with the Lord. In these smaller, more intimate settings, you’ll find encouragement, friendship, and support in every season of life. Whether you’ve been at church for years or are brand new, you’ll find a fun and welcoming place to belong! There are a variety of Growth Communities to join at The River, from homes to local restaurants and everywhere in between. Children are also welcome at many of our Growth Communities! Join us as we walk through this journey we call life, side by side. You don’t need to know anyone, just come join us!
