Worship Academy Application
A Leadership Development Program of The River Church
Program Overview
The Worship Academy is a 3-semester program designed to prepare worship ministry leaders for future roles as Gathering Directors within The River Church. This program blends theological learning, leadership training, practical ministry experience, and intentional spiritual formation. Students will participate in two semesters of in-class learning and one semester of residency placement at a selected River Church location.
• Duration: 3 semesters (2 semesters classwork, 1 semester residency)
• Schedule: Monday nights, 6–9 PM (additional sessions as needed)

• Cost: $1,400 (covers materials, conferences, vocal lessons as needed)

Applicant Requirements
• 18 years old and up, or recent high school graduate
• Recommended by a Gathering Director of The River Church
• Currently serving on a worship team within The River Church (min. 1 year)
• Proficient vocalist and instrumentalist
• Willing to submit to a spiritual and musical assessment
